Meet Milly! Healthy 13 yr old

"Meet Milly. CCAA has asked us to advocate for her because she will turn 14 in the fall and no longer be eligible for adoption.Milly is healthy and sweet. The Director of her orphanage regards her as his own always asks how she is doing and teaches her things. Milly is a very polite and honest young lady. When she found 50 Yuan on the ground, she immediately gave it to her teacher to try to find the person who lost it. Her teacher was so impressed that she continued to praise and encourage Milly. Milly struggles a little academically but has remained at grade level with a little extra help and encouragement. She likes studying English more than Chinese and Math. She reports that she does want to be adopted and have a family of her own. Milly needs a family to come forward for her right away! Please contact me if you would be interested in Milly. Down To The Wire

I am reposting this blog post from ASIA.  They have 17 boys and 1 girl remaining on their list from Hope Journey II.  Please take a look their blog to see these wonderful children.

"We're getting down to the wire on our time allowed with the Hope Journey II kids files. If people ask for their files at this point, I'm going to send them out to anyone interested--we will no longer just send them to one family at a time, as we don't have enough time left (for the Hope Journey II kids). If you are with another agency and wish to pursue one of these children, please contact me--we will be happy to transfer their file so they will have a family. We really don't want these kids to get lost on the shared list! They each have so much potential! It's hard to see this through pictures and minimal descriptions, but when you meet these kids face to face, and you see the light in their eyes and their desire to be part of something that's forever, like a family, you know.

Edward

Edward is 6 years old.  He was born with a cleft lip and palate.  He my have other health issues. Edward was a member of ASIA's camp earlier this year.  This what was written about him.

"Edward is an obedient child and likes to help his nannies. He can recite children's songs and gets along with other children. He is a bit shy and does not like to talk forwardly. He can jump, fold airplanes and cut paper. Edward did an impressive Martial Arts performance for his talent at the camp. He seemed to enjoy beingactive and frequently had a smile on his face during the physical activities."

CJ

CJ turned 7 years old in June.  This is what is written about CJ.

"CJ's special need is repaired cleft lip/palate and hexadactyly of his left hand and feet. CJ showed his expertise in the martial arts for his talent at the Hope Journey camp:-) His favorite subjects are math and music and he wants to be adopted. He said "I'm a good boy, I can be adopted." I think he is, too! We should be able to find his family out there. He can repeat English phrases and is in 2nd grade in school. His teachers describe him as clever and cute. He lives in a foster family. As you can see, CJ is a very competent little boy. His file is currently available--please contact marcisk@asiadopt.org. Please help CJ find his family!"

Cherry

CHERRY HAS A FAMILY!
Cherry has been waiting too long....far too long.  There is a $1500 grant for her adoption.  She has post-op cl/cp.
