Jerrick Again!

JERRICK'S FILE MUST BE RETURNED IN 7 DAYS!
Please share about him with others!!
Be an advocate!

I am bumping this sweet baby right back up to the top of my posts!  His family must be out there somewhere just looking for him!  HERE HE IS!!!!
Jerrick is listed with Children's House International.  If you are interested in learning more about Jerrick please email HeidiGoesToChina@msn.com and put JERRICK in the subject line.

We have two little girls with cleft lip and palate and we would adopt a child with cl/cp again in a heartbeat!!!

Jerrick loves to be cuddled and go outside. He entered the SWI when he was a newborn and is close to his caregivers.

Although he has congenital left cleft lip and palate III, is a Hep. B carrier, and has a birthmark on his head, he has normal physical and intellectual developments. At the age of 1-2 months he was able to open widely his eyes to look at you when teasing and paid attention to hear sound. At the age of 3-4 months, he could roll over lying on sides. At the age of 5 months, he could wave his hands when being happy as if clapping hands. At the age of 6 months, he starts to pay attention to his surrounding environment in that he often looks around and he could touch some small toys. He could turn over his head to locate the direction of sounds when being called.

Jerrick was born November, 2009. Still just a baby. His SN is cleft lip and palate and hep b. I can't believe he doesn't have a family yet! Are you his family!? For more information about Jerrick contact Heidi at HeidiGoesToChina@msn.com. Jerrick is listed with Children's House International.

More Poppy

If you scroll down just a bit you can read all about Miss Poppy who is patiently waiting in Guangdong for her family to find her.  I have more photos to share of Poppy!   Yesterday I requested Poppy's file because our family is hoping to adopt again in the near future. We don't know if this child will be a boy or girl or if he or she will be 2 years old or 12 years old or somewhere in between.  We don't know what special need they will have either other than the need of a family.  So yesterday I requested Poppy's file from Heidi at Children's House.  When I received her reply I was just ........shocked.

"Ohhh dear Sharon,

BLESS YOU-You are the first person to ask to review her file. Please help us find her way home."

Can you believe that???  Not one other person on this planet had asked to see this child's file.  None.  Zero.  I am still just speechless about this.  And so.....I am on a mission to find Poppy's family.  Her birthday is this month.  Let's give her the wonderful gift of a family of her very own!

In her spare time, she actively participates in all
kinds of culture and entertainment events that are organized by the school.

She has a ready smile,
and often plays rope-skipping and pretend play with other children
.

...she is diligent and has a desire
of learning. She takes her initiative to finish her homework
and preview new things everyday.

She is timid,
outgoing, although quiet in front of strangers.

Please help me find Poppy's family.

Boys, Boys, Boys!

Children's House has been blessed with the files of several little boys who are in need of homes.  We used CHI to bring our daughter Brinley home and they are WONDERFUL!!!  Please look at these precious little boys and share their photos and info with others.  Their files are scheduled to be returned in just a few weeks.

ASHTON, Male,

Ashton is now thriving under the care of his excellent caretakers. He has had
good physical development. Through the Tomorrow Plan, he had heart surgery on
Apr.16 2008. Ashton recovered well after the operation, but still has cyanosis
around his mouth and lips. He has slight achropachy and needs a two-stage
operation, this basically does not affect the living, but can not do fierce
action.
At the age of 8 months, he could sit with hip held, could change the position of
lying on the back to the position of lying on one side, could play with his
hands. He could hold and ring a bell toy, could reach the toys in front of
him. At the age of 9 months, he could sit when being held. At the age of 10
months he could crawl and would refuse when others were touching his toys. At
the age of 1 year he could stand up when being held. At the age of 1 year and 6
months he could walk alone. Now he can eat. by himself He can put on and take
off shoes and clothes with help. He knows when he needs to use the bathroom but
needs some help still to do that.
Language, personality and emotion development:
At the age of 8 months he could make sounds. At the age of 9 months, he could
babble and was interested in the toys which can make sound. Ashton could cry
and smile conscious.ly At the age of 10 months he could recognize the strangers
and familiar people. At the age of 12 months, he could understand the facial
expression of adults and would want to be cuddled when being called. At the age
of one year, he knows some simple words, such as “Ashton, come here!” He will
come here happily and let you cuddle him. And he can imitate the adults’ action,
such as Bye Bye. At the age of 1.5 years, he could like and dislike things,
likes to listen to music, and knows the directions of adults. At the age of 2
years, he can point out each part of the body, such as eye, ear, mouth and so
on. Now he can say 2-3 words. He likes to listen to music and watch TV. Ashton
is lovely, has ready smile and can get alone well with other kids.
Ashton still has a large VSD that will need attention. He has a hole in his
own little heart but ultimately he can fill the heart of a family just waiting
for him!

BLAKE, Male,

.
NICHOLAS

Nicholas came to the orphanage as a month old baby who was weak but who has grown strong gradually with the good nurturing of his caregivers. At the age of 9 months, he could roll. At the age of 10 months, he could jump in walker. At the age of 1.5year, he began to learn to walk, could walk 4-5 steps, crawl quickly. At the age of 1year 8months he could walk freely, say simple things and 2 words phrases. Now he could say sentences of 7 words and talk with adults. Nicholas likes to write Chinese characters, draw, run, and play with toys like guns and balls. He has strong imitating ability and can help adults to do things. He can take good care of himself and can eat his meals and use the bathroom by himself. He is a little bit obstinate and is extroverted, restless and active. Nicholas likes to talk and laugh. He likes to play games and participate in outdoor activity. He has routine life, has meal with adults, likes to have various dinners and vegetables. Charlie's Time Is Running Out

Charlie is listed with Children's House International. Charlie's file must be returned to the CC@A on December 2.  There are about 2,000 children on the shared list. Please don't let Charlie become just another number.  We used Children's House to bring home our daughter Brinley.  I can not say enough wonderful things about this agency.
