Trevor Still Waits

TREVOR'S FILE IS ON HOLD!!! PRAYING HIS FAMILY HAS FOUND HIM!!!

Posting about Trevor again.  He is still waiting and I find it really hard to believe. There must be a family out there for Trevor!  Please share this post on FB and your blog.  Help me find Trevor's family!

I have to admit that posting this sweet little boy's info is a difficult task.  You see, our family had Trevor's file on hold. He is a wonderful, wonderful little guy and any family will be blessed to have him as their son. The only reason we are not adopting Trevor is because after talking about and praying about this little boy (and lots of tears on my part) we realize that it would be a rough fit for our family dynamic. We would basically have triplets. Trevor and our daughter Brinley share the same birthday....just a year apart.  He is 4 months younger than our daughter Bailey. So, we are still searching for our child and are praying that through this post we will help someone find their child.

And so it is with mixed emotions that I tell you about my sweet Trevor.  He is 6 years old and will be 7 in August.  He lives with his foster family and attends school.  He takes Tae Kwon Do classes and there are many, many photos and videos of him in the Madison group. He has scoliosis and is missing some ribs. He can do perfect one hand cartwheels.  He is an amazing little boy!!!

I first really took notice of Trevor when I was copying some of the photos from the Madison site for our friends who are adopting an older girl through Madison. He is in many photos with her and her friend.  If you go to the Madison Yahoo group there is a photo on the homepage of several little boys.  Trevor is right in the middle of this handsome little group.
(2-26-11: Our friends are in China right now to adopt the young girl wearing glasses in this photo with Trevor.  They will be meeting their beautiful daughter Kelly tonight while we are sleeping. So happy for our wonderful friends and Kelly!)

If you are interested in learning more about Trevor, you can view his file by joining the Madison Yahoo Group. To see more photos and videos of him go to the Madison Yahoo Group, click on "links" on the left side of the page. Scroll down to "Videos of Camp Tiger".  Log in with the provided password. Click on "Tiger 2 Videos" in the black bar at the top of the page.  There are grants available for Trevor!  :)

Please take a look at this amazing little boy.  :)

~♡~Imagine the possibilities...~♡~

This post is a bit different. I am not allowed to post a photo of this child but I have seen her photo and she is a lovely child. She sounds like a sweetheart!  My friend Annie at Wonderful Waiting Kids asked me to post about her. This is what Annie wrote about her.

Please, please someone bring this child home!!!!  She has a facial cleft and is just beautiful!  She is listed with WACAP right now with a $4200 grant.  Please, someone ask about this child!  This is what is written about her on WACAP's site:

She is described as being a little shy around strangers, but when she becomes more familiar with people she is very talkative.  Her caregivers are obviously quite fond of her because they describe her as “naughty” which is seen as a very positive trait in a young child and is often used to describe a child who is inquisitive, active, and curious.  She likes to sing.  She enjoys going to school where she can play with toys – especially the bikes.  When we asked her what her favorite animal was, she said that she likes little dogs.  She was born with a cleft lip and palate as well as other facial abnormalities.  Her speech is very clear and her nanny says that she is just as smart as all of the other little children.  She lives in a foster family.  She is very affectionate and we saw her take her caregiver’s hand several times for comfort while we asked her questions.  By the end of our interview, she had warmed up enough to pose for the camera.  She is an affectionate child who needs the love that only a permanent family can give her.

You can email Beth at BethH@... for more info.  Her number on their site is JH4.ZYZ.0304.31090.01.  PLEASE!!!

More Poppy

If you scroll down just a bit you can read all about Miss Poppy who is patiently waiting in Guangdong for her family to find her.  I have more photos to share of Poppy!   Yesterday I requested Poppy's file because our family is hoping to adopt again in the near future. We don't know if this child will be a boy or girl or if he or she will be 2 years old or 12 years old or somewhere in between.  We don't know what special need they will have either other than the need of a family.  So yesterday I requested Poppy's file from Heidi at Children's House.  When I received her reply I was just ........shocked.

"Ohhh dear Sharon,

BLESS YOU-You are the first person to ask to review her file. Please help us find her way home."

Can you believe that???  Not one other person on this planet had asked to see this child's file.  None.  Zero.  I am still just speechless about this.  And so.....I am on a mission to find Poppy's family.  Her birthday is this month.  Let's give her the wonderful gift of a family of her very own!

In her spare time, she actively participates in all
kinds of culture and entertainment events that are organized by the school.

She has a ready smile,
and often plays rope-skipping and pretend play with other children
.

...she is diligent and has a desire
of learning. She takes her initiative to finish her homework
and preview new things everyday.

She is timid,
outgoing, although quiet in front of strangers.

Please help me find Poppy's family.
